Original Item: We are very proud of our 2003 acquisition of the Arsenal from the royal palace of Nepal. Our customers now have the unique opportunity to purchase rare edged weapons such as the legendary Kukri. Each Kukri was hand made over 100 years ago, the steel was smelted, forged, shaped, and hardened in Nepal by individual Kamis. Each and everyone has seen some type of service with Gurkha regiments. There is nothing like these on the market today. All show some wear but are tough, and serviceable. The Gurkha still wears hi kukri, but modern weapons are making hand to hand combat a thing of lost generations. These are the blades used when they still meant life and death. Each blade is packed in original cosmoline and will require some cleaning. Original scabbards will show some wear. Set of Four, these are slightly larger and thicker than issued today. Not cleaned and in used condition. 5 1/4"-6 1/2" overall. Styles may vary from photos slightly.
