Original Item: Only One Available. This is a purpose built World War Two British steam condensing can or water can designed for the British Vickers Medium Machine Gun. This example measures 15.5" x 7" x 4.5". It features original paint and original cord handle wrap.  Features original brass cap with chain and stopper still intact. The side nozzle for refilling the water jacket is also still intact, and unscrews smoothly. Nicely stenciled on the side in white paint C1/IBD-0029.

Purpose built military issue water cans are much harder to find on the market than the commercially made petrol cans which were used in the early war years. Ready to display with your Vickers!
