Original Item. Only One Available. This is a genuine German World War One trench telephone hand set. It does not bear visible markings due to the thick wartime paint on the exterior but removing the external panel does reveal OHMS and and circuitry markings as well as wiring and mechanics.
The lower section of the handset has the classic WWI German folding speaker cup while the earpiece has a large donut shaped leather cushion. The rear has a large "hanging ring" for when not in use.
It is in good vintage condition and we have no idea if this is still operational (doubtful) therefore it is offered in "as is" condition so please assume it will not work without restoration.
This is a truly interesting and very scarce piece of original German World War One trench warfare equipment that you wont find easily!
