Original Item: Only One Available. Obtained from a Battlefield Scavenger in Belgium, this was really dug up in a field where German trenches had been located during World War One. Being glass and porcelain it is perfectly preserved, howeber the steel heavy wire looking system for the cap is heavily corroded, though still fully functional.

The green glass bottle stands 11 tall including its porcelain cap. Its body is unmarked, however the base of the bottle has production informnation:

The porcelain Stopper has wonderful printed logo markings of a large Crown surrounded by:-

FÜRSTLICHE BRAUEREIEN A.G. - TICHAU
This translates to "Princely Breweries Ltd" of Tichau, which is today the Polish city of Tichy. This city had been part of the Austrian Empire until 1742, when it was taken forcibly by Prussia. After 1871 this then became part of the German Empire, which existed until 1918. The city was part of the Weimar Republic until 1921, when it became part of Poland, after the Silesian Uprising. Being marked Tichau means that this bottle is definitely WW1 or earlier.

Discarded by a German Infantryman until discovered almost 100 years later! The rubber washer is even still intact, though cracked and brittle.

This "battlefield pickup" Original WW1 beer bottle is most appealing and ready to display.
