Original Item: I.M.A. has found a small number of WW2 inert training cartridges in its old MG 34 parts stores. These are dummy cartridges issued to training troops in the operation of the MG 34. They are constructed of brass in one piece with an integrated bullet.
Each cartridge has a NSDAP-era head stamp: P S* Ex 37. The head stamp symbols have the following meaning:
P The manufacturer, Polte, Magdeburg, Germany
S* Cartridge material, brass
Ex Cartridge type, Exerzierpatrone or Training (Dummy) Cartridge
