Original Item: Only One Available. Recently purchased at a militaria show, is this genuine USGI bring back German WWII NSDAP Podium banner. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the NSDAP Party, was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) before the name was changed in 1920.

The party's last leader, Adolf AH, was appointed Chancellor of Germany by president Paul von Hindenburg in 1933. AH rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as the Third Reich.

The banner is single sided red cotton with a printed black swas (hook cross) in white circle (one piece) stitched onto the red background. Around this is a stitched on rayon square white border, and there is a white fringe sewn onto the bottom. There is a thin sleeve at the top for hanging the banner onto the podium. It measures 30" x 37" not counting the fringe on the bottom.

The banner is offered in very good condition, with some wear due to age. The rayon border has worn through at the top of the banner, and there are some small holes in the cotton body of the flag. There are also some small stains on the body of the flag.
