Original Item: Only One Available. This a very rare example of a WWII German NSDAP State Service Flag Car / Automobile / Vehicle Rigid Fender Pennant used for high ranking National Socialist Party official vehicles. This would indicate that the vehicle was there on official "State Service" reasons, allowing it to be easily identified at sensitive areas.

This Fender Pennant is still enclosed in the original celluloid covering. The celluloid is still fully present, though it unfortunately has cracking on both sides, with one side having the covering completely loose on 2 of the 4 sides, as shown in the pictures. This covering is edged with sewn red leather that runs all the way around each side encompassing a wire frame, with a snap closure around the mounting end. The frame is still present and fully intact, with a long post at the mounting end for attachment to the pennant mount on the front Fender.

The pennant in frame measures 12 1/4 inches by 8 1/2 inches and is double sided. It is red in color, and is simply a small version of the official NSDAP "State Service" Flag. It has a partly embroidered swas to the center, with the German "Reichsadler" in the upper left corner. The celluloid has yellowed slightly, and the color on the pennant is slightly faded and stained, but this is entirely typical given the age.

These wire framed fender pennants encased in celluloid with a leather trim are exceptionally rare and were used for high ranking party official vehicles. You won't find one this nice anytime soon!
