Original Item: Only One Available. Released from the State Armory in Jaipur in the Indian State of Rajasthan in the early 1980s this a massive 18th century matchlock wall gun.

By massive we mean in terms of NINE feet in length, actually measuring 107" overall has a bore size of THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH. It is marked with the appropriate original Indian Government reference numbers and codes from the time of Export signifying that it is a 250 year old primitive Wall Gun officially exported from India which is very strict on the release of it's Antiquities.

Exceptionally heavy, clearly part of the Old City of Jaipur Defense system. Jaipur was first constructed in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, ruled 1699-1744, who moved his capital to this new city from nearby Amber. Known as the "Pink City" for it's great beauty today it is home to almost 4 Million people. The currant Maharaja is a Polo playing friend of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales.

Originating from an old English Collection amassed over the last thirty years the death of the collector has resulted in this fine and very unusual example returning to the market.
