Original Item: Only One Available. This is a fantastic original 1919A4 display gun setup, complete with an original WWII dated Tripod, T&E, and lots of accessories! It even still has the rear 20% portion of the original side plate with original markings, with the rest correctly cut off and destroyed per BATF regulations. It contains many of the original internal parts, now demilitarized and fixed in place, for a fantastic view of the internal action. We have never had a set like this before!

The Browning 1919A4 was the definitive U.S. MG of WWII. The M1919 Browning is a .30 caliber medium machine gun that was widely used during the 20th century. The U.S. and many other countries used it as a light infantry, coaxial, mounted, aircraft, and anti-aircraft machine gun, especially during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Although it began to be superseded by newer designs in the later half of the century (such as by the M60 machine gun), it remained in use in many North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries and elsewhere for much longer. It is very similar in design to the larger .50 in (12.7 mm) M2 Machine Gun, the "Ma Deuce", which is also a Browning-designed weapon and is still in NATO service.

IMA is proud to offer a totally non-firing display machine gun, built from a parts set into a BATF compliant non-firing dummy gun with a approximatley 20% of the original demilitarized torch cut right side plate. It also features original internal parts deactivated and modified to fit inside, constructed with precision detail. The top cover opens, and many original markings remain, this is a very appealing display gun, still with the original military finish present on most of the gun.

This all sits on an original WWII issue M2 Tripod, maker marked by EVANS PROD. CO. and dated 1943, along with a USGI issued pintle and T&E. There is also a short cloth belt with inert practice rounds loaded, which sits nicely in a post war ammo box. There is even an original OD Green #3 canvas gun cover for the M1919A4, with the correct leather pintle cover. It unfortunately has deteriorated over the years, with the middle of the canvas dry rotted due to water exposure. Other fine accessories include original U.S. Army 1969 dated manuals for the Browning .30cal series of machine guns, as well as an original armorer's tool and spare parts roll, containing many original parts and gauges for use with the M1919.

Condition overall is excellent, showing very little wear or damage from service. The front and rear sight are fully functional, and the inert ammo properly locks into the feed tray. The accessories are all in good service used condition.

This is your opportunity to own a nice full display setup of America's most famous WW2 Medium Machine Gun, complete with some great accessories. Ready to display!
